India qualified for the semi-finals of the Paris 2024 Olympic ice hockey tournament after beating England in a dramatic penalty shootout at the Stade Yves-du-Manoir. The match saw Lee Morton equalise for Great Britain just after Harmanpreet Singh scored his seventh goal of the tournament, giving India a surprising lead down to 10 men. Morton’s equaliser came just five minutes later, leaving the score 1-1 at the end of the third period.
