Bhajan Kaur and Deepika Kumari in Archery Quarterfinals

Indian female archer Bhajan Kaur defeated Indonesia’s S.N. Kamal in the round of 32. Kaur won the match 7-3 (on points basis).
In the round 16 on the same day Bhajan Kaur was up against Poland’s Wioleta Myszor. In the best of five Kaur won the first three consecutive rounds winning the match. While Kaur scored 28-29-28 in the three rounds the Polish national wasn’t even in close competition as she managed to score 23-26-22. Kaur will be up against Indonesia’s Diananda Choirunisa which will take place on Saturday. As Bhajan alongside Deepika managed to secure their places in the Quarter finals their winning in the quarter finals will definitely increase chances of India to win a medal in Archery at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
